We met the "modern way"—on Hinge—in January 2023, and what started as some quick-witted banter turned into hours of conversation that felt effortless.

For our first date, we met at a cozy Mexican restaurant and grabbed seats at the bar. Brendan (not Abby, surprisingly) was the one who showed up late—but lucky for him, Abby stuck around. Over margaritas and quesadillas, any first-date nerves melted away, and we both left knowing this was the beginning of something really special.

From there, life together just clicked. We spent weekends at the beach, took long walks with our dog Koda, and became regulars at PJ’s (always splitting hot honey wings and a basket of fries). Somewhere in the middle of it all—despite insisting she never would—Abby made the move from Philadelphia to South Jersey. Turns out, love (and maybe a little peer pressure from Koda) can change your mind.

In November 2024, during a peaceful fall hike in New Hope, Brendan got down on one knee and asked the easiest question ever. It was an unforgettable moment that captured us perfectly: simple, genuine, and full of love.

Now we can’t wait to celebrate our wedding day, and the beginning of our forever, with all of you!
