This love story starts at 6am on January 12, 2023 when Brendan sent a "super like" accompanied by the following opening line: "How much does it take to get a beautiful attorney like you on retainer?" To which Abby responded "If you must know, I'm priceless." Fast forward to the first date and it was clear they found something special.

On November 9, 2024, Brendan suggested a hike at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve to enjoy one of the last warm sunny days before winter. Almost immediately after the hike started Brendan got down on one knee and the rest is history!
